High Rock Lake
 Bicycle touring into the past. What began as a way to avoid the crowds on US395 near Reno, Neveda, this tour became a history lesson in both geology and Native American archaeology which was repeated many times. Expansive big sky country tour.

Alaska
 The chance came up to go to Alaska and I took it. Given a long week, we hiked and climbed up-glacier to where the Grizzlies roam.

Joe Lake
 This local hike is near Seattle and yet quite remote and beautiful.

Stevens to Snoqualmie Pass
 This trip began as a training route for the Western States 100 miler. It's the most dramatic hike I do for scenery, but really hard, a lot of climbing and over 75 miles total in 2-1/2 days.
